Before your appointment
Is it worth repairing an older appliance?
Often, yes. It depends on the age of the appliance, how it has been looked after, and the cost of the repair compared with replacing it. Premium built-in appliances in particular are usually designed to be repaired rather than replaced.
What should I do before the technician arrives?
Clear the area around the appliance so it can be reached, note any error codes or symptoms, and if it’s leaking, turn off the water supply to it.
My refrigerator stopped cooling. Is there anything I can check first?
Make sure it has power and the breaker hasn’t tripped, check the temperature setting, confirm the door seals close fully, and make sure nothing is blocking the vents inside. If it still isn’t cooling, give us a call.
