Before you call
A few quick checks can sometimes solve the problem — or help us diagnose it faster:
- For electric ranges, check the breaker.
- Make sure burner caps are seated correctly and dry after cleaning.
- On gas models, confirm the gas supply valve is open.
- Check that a control lock or Sabbath mode isn’t switched on.
If you smell gas, don’t use light switches or appliances. Leave your home and call your gas company or 911 from outside.
